Division of Environment and Sustainability Adjunct Prof. Joseph KWAN said in an article on mainland authorities tightening mask-covering regulations amid a new wave of COVID-19 cases outbreak that the selection of what masks to wear should be “based on the level of risk and done by qualified professionals such as occupational hygienists”. He said people should keep their masks on even if they had been vaccinated to minimise transmission risks.
