The Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies (AIS) at HKUST is pleased to welcome 6 esteemed scholars who have joined us since December 2024*. These new faculty members bring extensive expertise in teaching, research, and industry, along with their noteworthy achievements from prestigious institutions worldwide.

 

Their presence enhances our commitment to serving as a hub for innovative pedagogy and interdisciplinary research in critical fields such as climate, environment and sustainability, computational design, global communications and digital media, artificial intelligence (AI), and other emerging areas, further solidifying AIS' role as the fifth school at HKUST.
