Prof. Keith CHAN, Assistant Professor of the Division of Environment and Sustainability (ENVR), has been awarded the AIS Teaching Excellence Award 2022/23. Established in 2018, the Award aims to recognize instructors who have made substantial contributions to the design and teaching of AIS courses and outstanding contributions to the learning experience and success of our students.

Teaching ENVR3410 and ENVR4320, Prof CHAN blends theory with practical applications, inspiring students with his innovative approach. His teaching style, which encourages critical thinking on complex environmental issues, has garnered high praise from students.

Prof CHAN's lectures have been described by students as "incredibly interesting and profound," inspiring deeper exploration of economic and sustainability studies.
