ISD Students and Alumni Shine at CES 2025 with Innovative Healthcare Solutions

Three startups with roots in the Division of Integrative Systems and Design (ISD) showcased their groundbreaking technologies at CES 2025, with one winning the CES Innovation Award.


Current MPhil in Integrative Systems and Design student Turzo BOSE's company, Vidi Labs Limited, clinched the CES Innovation Award in Accessibility & Agetech for their AI-powered wearable "Seekr". This AI wearable device is designed specifically for the visually impaired, featuring a compact design and intelligent features that enhance accessibility in daily life.


Other impressive technologies also captured the attention of industry leaders, corporate partners, and venture capitalists at the event. Incus Company Limited, co-founded by Calvin ZHANG Jiangang (MPhil in Technology Leadership and Entrepreneurship, Class of 2016), demonstrated their advanced hearing aid technology, which incorporates Intelligent Noise Reduction Technology that automatically filters background noise while amplifying speech.


PointFit Technology Limited, co-founded by Kenny OKTAVIUS (MPhil in Technology Leadership and Entrepreneurship, Class of 2021), presented their innovative wearable technology that enables non-invasive, real-time health monitoring through sweat biomarkers, representing a breakthrough in personal health tracking.
