Congratulations to our Year 1 students Akshat GUPTA, Sac LEE, and Joshua LI studying the Dual Degree Program in Technology & Management (T&M-DDP) for winning the 2024 Venture Capital On Campus - Investment Challenge co-hosted by HKSTP Capital and HKFBS, among over 140 team applications!

Teaming up with two other students from HKUST Business School, they have been selected as one of the top 3 winning teams of VCOC, based on case company 1 – LuxCreo. In their final venture capitalist presentation, they organized and showcased the further business viability of LuxCreo, a 3D printing company primarily involved in the dental product printing and shoe printing industry. Critical information on their slides included investment plans, market data, and financial valuations. Their presentation stood apart from other groups as they introduced a unique company evaluation and presented the company’s potential objectively.

The Venture Capital On Campus (VCOC) - Investment Challenge is a venture capital (VC)-themed function designed for undergraduates and postgraduates from all disciplines in Hong Kong. Powered by the Hong Kong Federation of Business Students (HKFBS) and HKSTP Capital, VCOC aims to inspire and nurture future venture capitalists through a training boot camp and an investment case competition.
