DJI, an R&D company on flying and camera stabilization system founded by HKUST alumni, sent its Strategic Project Manager Mr Stephen WU to share about the operation, working environment and culture in DJI and how to develop an industry-specific solution using DJI Matrice 100 programmable platform.
40 IPO and School of Engineering students attended the talk to know more about the work of DJI and the latest unmanned flying technology. Participating most actively were 12 Dual Degree Program in Technology and Management (T&M-DDP) students who are preparing to go to Brazil in January 2016 for a 10-day business plan competition with 3 other universities on the subject of “New Business Opportunities made Possible by Advancements in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Systems”.
Stephen also mentioned that DJI would offer internship posts to students. Students are welcome to contact Stephen direct if they are interested.
