To celebrate the end of Spring Term, 14 IPO students from different undergraduate programs gathered together on 30 May, 2023 for an archery tag game to unwind from exam stress.

Before the combats, all students first received training led by a professional coach to learn how to wear safety gears, and shoot an arrow with a bow. They were then divided into 2 teams to play the mission games in 2 themed zones sized 20,000 sq. ft. in total.

There are 3 different game modes: Capture the Flag, Treasure Box Extraction and Spy Game, each with their own tactics. It was impressive how quickly the students picked up the rules of the game and started strategizing after scouting the terrain. They communicated effectively, coordinated their attacks, and defended their positions.

Students were in good spirits and appreciated the occasion to gather after examinations. They found the archery tag a positive experience that improved understanding, communication, and interactions between each other. It was great to bond over a new and thrilling physical activity, work together as a team and have fun at the same time.
