Three students from the Integrative Systems and Design (ISD) program earned notable recognition at both the InnoX Hong Kong and Shenzhen Entrepreneurship Winter Camps 2025, demonstrating their exceptional innovation capabilities across multiple categories.
Teaming up with fellow participants, Fiona FENG Shiqi (ISD UG Year 2) and Tippi HUANG Qiqi (ISD PhD Year 1) secured the Best Project Prize at the InnoX Hong Kong Camp with “Blue Guardian”. Their AI-powered multimodal wearable enables real-time drowning detection and has also earned the team a pathway to the coveted HKSTP Ideation programme, along with $8,000 in reward from HongShan, Kerry Holdings, and Hong Kong X Foundation.
The "Life & Leap" Shenzhen Camp also saw Tippi receiving the Most Popular Award for "Fsmile M1," a smart skin care mirror designed for individual and family use.
Terry CHANG Tianxing (ISD UG Year 4) claimed dual honors across both camps. His team at the InnoX Hong Kong Camp earned a pathway to the HKSTP Ideation programme for their portable jacuzzi/spa mat addressing pain points in traditional massage solutions. Meanwhile, his team at the Shenzhen camp secured the Best Insight Award for smart gym gloves that provide real-time alerts for wrist hyperextension alongside motion trajectory analysis.
InnoX Entrepreneurship Camps have served as flagship entrepreneurship training grounds across the Greater Bay Area. With the Hong Kong camp focusing on "Aqua Tech Revolution" and the Shenzhen program exploring "Life & Leap" through smart hardware innovations, these intensive programs held in January and February 2025 attracted over 200 participants from the Greater Bay Area, mainland China, and overseas.
Congratulations to all ISD winners for their remarkable accomplishments at the InnoX Winter Camps 2025!
