A record-breaking 40,000 visitors visited HKUST campus for the Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions 2023, which was successfully concluded on 14 Oct 2023. As part of the HKUST community, Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies (AIS) hosted various activities for prospective students, parents and teachers.

A record-breaking 40,000 visitors visited HKUST campus for the Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions 2023, which was successfully concluded on 14 Oct 2023.
As part of the HKUST community, Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies (AIS) hosted various activities for prospective students, parents and teachers.
Dual Degree Program in Technology & Management (T&M-DDP), Environmental Management and Technology (EVMT), Individualized Interdisciplinary Major (IIM) and Integrative Systems and Design (ISD) conducted admission talks and sharing sessions to unveil their unique features. These sessions aimed to provide the audience with a comprehensive understanding of the programs and the diverse learning opportunities they offer. Additionally, current students and alumni shared their firsthand experiences, offering valuable insights into the programs’ fruitful learning experiences and promising career prospects.
To give students a hands-on experience and a glimpse into our innovative learning approach, we organized taster workshops that allowed students to actively participate in practical activities aligned with their academic interests and also guided lab tours to showcase the advanced equipment. By engaging in these activities, students were able to get a taste of the dynamic and interactive learning environment that characterizes our AIS programs.
At the program booths, face-to-face consultations were facilitated for prospective students and parents, encouraging interactions between current students, alumni, and faculty members. Students and parents had the chance to exchange experiences, ask questions, and gain further insights into the programs and campus life.
