Recently, the Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies (AIS) of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and the Center for Globalization Hong Kong (CGHK) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set out the framework for strategic collaboration on interdisciplinary education to cultivate talents who could address the complex and multifaceted challenges of today’s society with a global perspective.
At the signing ceremony, Prof. QU Huamin, Dean of AIS, and Dr. Peter QIU, Founder and President of CGHK signed the MoU on behalf of their respective parties. Prof. ZHU Pengyu, Co-Director of Leadership and Public Policy (LAPP) Executive Education at HKUST, signed the cooperation agreement with CGHK, with Prof. QU Huamin and Ms. WANG Yufeng, CEO of CGHK, witnessing the signing.
As part of a strategic collaboration, both parties will leverage their respective strengths to jointly develop high-quality interdisciplinary courses focused on strategic decision-making. This initiative seeks to equip corporate leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complex challenges of today’s global landscape.
By combining HKUST’s robust research capabilities and quality education resources with CGHK’s think tank network, both parties will explore innovative models of talent education and training. The signing of this MoU lays a solid foundation for deep collaboration between HKUST and CGHK in the field of interdisciplinary education.

About the Center for Globalization Hong Kong
The Center for Globalization Hong Kong (CGHK) (http://www.cghk.com) is the first think tank in Hong Kong dedicated to the study of globalization. Along with well-known figures from home and abroad, the scholar Dr Peter Qiu founded the CGHK in 2019.
CGHK is a think tank as well as a forum platform.
