Angela WU Shin-Yee, Year 3 student in the BSc in Environmental Management and Technology (EVMT) program, has been selected for the French+Sciences Program Scholarship 2026, recognizing her excellent scientific background and strong motivation to explore technological innovations in France.

As the only recipient from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology this year, Angela received her award certificate from Ms. Christile DRULHE, Consul General of France in Hong Kong and Macau, at a ceremony held on June 13, 2026. With the support of the scholarship, Angela will soon embark on a three-week "Science and Technology of the Sea" program at Ciel Bretagne.

Launched in 2018, the French+Sciences program is a joint initiative of Campus France in partnership with FLE centers (Français Langue Etrangère), diplomatic posts, and Campus France local offices. It offers international students the opportunity to spend short stays for language and scientific learning in France in cutting-edge technological sectors.

Congratulations to Angela, and we look forward to the insights and inspiration she will bring back from her time at Ciel Bretagne.
