Selected by an expert judging panel, this book has been recognized as one of ten remarkable books from China, for advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals across diverse academic fields.

Co-written by Mr. Davy Ng (first author), Dr. Jac Leung (second author), Ms. Maggie Jiahong Su, Ms. Iris Heung Yue Yim, Dr. Maggie Shen Qiao and Prof. Samuel Kai Wah Chu, “AI Literacy in K-16 Classrooms” focuses on pioneering and timely research in AI literacy education. It provides a systematic review of the framework, content, pedagogy, and assessment of AI literacy education, presenting a theoretical framework illustrating key concepts and teaching approaches to develop students’ AI literacy. It aims to support policymakers and educators in embedding such an emerging field into K-16 curricula.

Springer Nature, one of the world's key English-language academic publishers, launched the "China New Development Award" in 2019, aiming to promote the achievement of sharing relevant research to promote the realization of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Congratulations to Dr. Jac Leung and the authors of this book!
