The Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies (AIS) at HKUST extends our warmest congratulations to the faculty members recently appointed to administrative roles and promoted within our divisions, and welcomes the new faculty members who joined us from Jan to Sep, 2026.

AIS is fueled by our people from diverse backgrounds. This diversity allows us to continue driving research breakthroughs through interdisciplinary collaboration and nurturing versatile talent to address pressing global challenges.

These faculty members have distinguished themselves across various fields, including creative arts, performing arts & design, bioelectronics, biological sciences, computer sciences, environment and sustainability, health sciences, human-AI interaction, technology and innovation policy, and other emerging areas.
