The Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies (AIS) organized a Welcome Back Reception cum Chinese New Year (CNY) Celebration on February 6, 2024 for an afternoon filled with joy and relaxation with our AIS faculty, staff, and students.

The event was kicked off with the heartwarming opening remark by AIS Dean Prof. Huamin QU, followed by a prosperity toss along with Prof. Arthur LAU (Associate Dean, Undergraduate Studies), Prof. Kira MATUS (Associate Dean, Taught Postgraduate Studies), Prof. Zhi NING (Associate Dean, Research and Postgraduate Studies), and our students, to symbolize the start of the Spring term and to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year.

As part of the celebration, there were also festive refreshments including fresh egg puff, Fai Chun writing with prizes, and a photobooth for our AIS family to enjoy and capture the wonderful moments.

Let’s take this opportunity to wish our AIS family a fruitful Spring semester and a prosperous Year of the Dragon!
