Congratulations to 4 of our AIS students who were honored for their commitment to community engagement and positive social impact at the Awards for Social Good ceremony held on May 8, 2025 on HKUST campus. The event gathered over 150 HKUST students, staff, faculty advisors, and community partners filling the atrium to celebrate a year of meaningful social impact.
CHUA Lok To (Dual Degree Program in Technology & Management (T&M-DDP), Year 1) and Irene KIM (Integrated Systems and Design Program (ISD), Year 2) won the Social Good Builder Award, commending their dedication by participating in at least 4 HKUST Connect events and showing satisfactory performance in development programs such as Service Learning Trips, Stitch Together, or the HKUST Kayak and Spark Program.
Melody LI (Environmental Management and Technology Program (EVMT), Year 3) and TONG Ho Yan (EVMT, Year 4) won the Social Good Contributor Award by engaging in at least 8 events organized by HKUST Connect and submitting thoughtful reflections that captured their personal growth and community impact.
