The 2024 bachelor’s degree graduates from HKUST’s Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies (AIS) are entering the workforce with a higher average monthly salary HK$35,720 — a remarkable 21% increase over the previous year, according to the latest report of the University’s Graduate Employment Survey. This outcome demonstrates that our rigorous interdisciplinary education equips graduates with the necessary agility and adaptability to excel in their chosen careers, despite the challenges of a volatile global economy.

The survey revealed that the 2024 graduates have secured employment across a diverse range of industries and sectors, including administration and management, system analysis and computer programming, engineering, as well as banking and finance.
