The Long Service Award 2023 Presentation Ceremony took place on 18 Apr 2024 to express appreciation and acknowledge the efforts of faculty and staff members who have served HKUST for at least 20 years. 

President Prof. Nancy IP delivered a speech to express her gratitude for the unwavering commitment by the university staff, emphasizing their pivotal role in HKUST’s transformation into a world-class institution within a mere 33 years.

Prof. Ajay JONEJA, Professor of Division of Integrative Systems and Design (ISD) and Dr Jerry PATCHELL, Associate Professor Emeritus of Division of Environment and Sustainability (ENVR) received the Award for their 30 Years of Service. Congratulations to both and thank you for your unwavering dedication to HKUST over all these years!
