The Great Eagle Group hosted its second awards ceremony for the “Great Eagle Group Scholarship”, honuring outstanding undergraduate students from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) and City University of Hong Kong (CityU) for their achievements in sustainable development, the environment, and energy.

Mr. Alexander LO, Executive Director of Great Eagle Holdings Limited, congratulated the recipients, “We have welcomed six talented sustainability interns who have contributed to our sustainability initiatives. Our collaboration is deepening: A group of HKUST students has embarked on a year-long Capstone project with us, focusing on promoting sustainable lifestyles at Great Eagle Centre.”

Prof. Alexis LAU, Head and Chair Professor of the Division of Environment and Sustainability (ENVR) is grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the Group. “These collaborations not only enriched students’ academic journey but also equipped our students with the skills and insights necessary to tackle the challenges of tomorrow, fostering a new generation of sustainable development professionals. We look forward to even more collaborations in the future.”

Following the ceremony, the Great Eagle Group representatives engaged with students and faculty members in an interactive session to gather insights and explore further collaboration opportunities in sustainable development.
