A Vision of High Impact University-Government-Industry Research Collaboration

The seminar invited Mr. AU Wai-kwong Elvis, BBS, JP, the Deputy Director of the Environmental Protection Department of HKSAR Government as the speaker. Mr. Au has over 35 years of experience in various environmental and energy fields. He is the former President of the International Association for Impact Assessment and the former Chairman of the Environmental Division of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE). He is a Fellow of HKIE, a Fellow of Hong Kong Institute of Planners and a Fellow of Hong Kong Institution of Environmental Impact Assessment. The seminar presented the latest vision and agenda of environmental research and development promoted by the Government, the latest operation of the Environmental Academy set up by the Environmental Protection Department, and the latest Government’s drive for smart environment.
