The Shaw Auditorium is a state-of-the-art venue at HKUST for cultural activities and large-scale events, including concerts, theatre performances, lectures, exhibitions, and ceremonies, featuring a flexible design and a capacity for over 1,300 attendees.  The interdisciplinary research and education of the Division of Arts and Machine Creativity is supported by the Shaw Auditorium.
