The Hong Kong Generative AI Research & Development Center (HKGAI) was established in September 2023, focusing on the research and development of generative artificial intelligence technologies. It is one of the research centers under the InnoHK program, a key initiative of the Hong Kong SAR Government. The interdisciplinary research and education of the Division of Arts and Machine Creativity is supported by HKGAI.
