Three students from the Master of Public Policy (MPP) program—LI Yueqing, CHEN Shumin, and LI Haixin—achieved outstanding success in the Project Competition organized by the Hong Kong Occupational Safety and Health Council (OSHC).
Under the leadership of LI Yueqing, the team was shortlisted as one of the top 10 finalists among over 30 international competitors, earning recognition for their innovative project titled “Alleviating the Mental Health Suffering of Elderly Labor”. As a result of this achievement, they were selected to represent Hong Kong in the final contest of the International Labour Organization (ILO)’s Youth Congress, which was held at EXPO 2025 in Osaka, Japan, in July 2025.
The Youth Congress took place as part of the EXPO 2025 Days on Safety, Health & Well-being for All, held under the inaugural Global Initiative for Safety, Health and Well-being (GISHW). This landmark event focused on empowering young people to actively participate in the design of safe, healthy, and inclusive workplaces in the digital age.
This accomplishment reflects the Division of Public Policy’s commitment to nurturing policy talent with real-world impact and international vision. Congratulations to our MPP students on this remarkable achievement!
