Prof. LUO Wenhan, Associate Professor of the Division of Arts and Machine Creativity (AMC) and Division of Emerging Interdisciplinary Areas (EMIA)has been recognized with the Excellence Award from the 2023 CCF-Tencent Rhino-Bird Faculty Fund, the highest honor of this Fund.

As the recipient of this Fund in 2023, Prof. Luo presented his year-long industry-academia collaboration, along with other recipients, during the Fund’s Final Evaluation Conference at the annual China Computer Conference held on October 25, 2024. Through a rigorous evaluation process, Prof. Luo was selected as the winner of the Excellence Award for demonstrating significant impact through his project, which not only advanced academic progress but also provided valuable resources for talent development and industry collaboration. 

Since its establishment in 2013, the CCF-Tencent Rhino-Bird Fund has become a cornerstone of industry-academia collaboration in China's computing sector. With support for over 440 projects yielding more than 1,100 academic publications and 400 patent applications, the Fund continues to drive innovation through successful academic-industrial partnerships.
