Congratulations to students from the Division of Environment and Sustainability (ENVR)! Emma LI Xin, a Year 4 PhD Student in Atmospheric Environmental Science (AES), and Shelly ZHOU Zixuan, a Year 2 PhD Student in Environmental Science, Policy and Management (ESPM), won the Outstanding Student Presentation Award for their respective presentations at AGU Meeting 2023!

Emma presented "Dynamic mapping of on-road emissions: impact of traffic congestion and fleet composition under the GC13C” and Shelly presented "Changes in Hot and Dry Extremes Based on Convection-Permitting Projections under the SSP5-8.5 Scenario" during the American Geophysical Union (AGU) Meeting in San Francisco. Besides winning the award, Shelly also received a prize of US$200 as designated by the section of Atmospheric Sciences.

 
The American Geophysical Union (AGU) annual meeting brings together over 25,000 participants from more than 100+ countries fostering the exchange of research and facilitating networking opportunities. This meeting serves as a platform for a diverse range of professionals including researchers, scientists, educators, students, policymakers, exhibitors, journalists and communicators to deepen their understanding of the planet and environment, and how to preserve its future.
