Emma LEE Man Yi, our Year 3 student studying the Dual Degree Program in Technology and Management (T&M-DDP), has been crowned the winner of the IET Prize 2023. 

Presented by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Hong Kong, the IET Prize recognizes students who have outstanding academic results and are active in extra-curricular activities, engineering institutions, and community service.

While studying dual degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Marketing, Emma participated in the EWB Global Citizenship Program 2023 where she had an opportunity to explore to the global challenges, to serve the society proactively with a global, humanitarian vision, and to contribute to the sustainable development goals as a global citizen. Emma said, “I am proud of being a woman in engineering and a dualer. The exclusive curriculum of DDP helps me broaden my horizon and capture the best of both worlds to become a great engineer, leader and game changer."

Emma will join the IET mentorship program and have a chance to learn the experience from senior members, while being the student ambassador of the IET Hong Kong.
