The Dual Degree Program in Technology & Management (T&M-DDP) invited Mr. Winston Yung (Partner, McKinsey & Company Hong Kong) and Ms. Jennifer Sung (Business Analyst of McKinsey’s Taipei Office) as their guest speakers of Technology & Management (T&M) Executive Forum on Oct 9, 2023 to share their insights into managing consultancy. 

Through an engaging fireside chat, Winston and Jennifer explored various aspects of consulting, including client engagements, problem-solving methodologies e.g. SMART, and the importance of teamwork and collaboration. They shed light on the challenges and opportunities brought by modern technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) and global market dynamics. 

Besides, Jennifer who is a graduate from HKUST School of Business and Management, shared her personal journey of inspiration and preparation to become a managing consultant during her study.

Resonating with the knowledge and skills acquired through TEMG courses, T&M-DDP students gained a better understanding of the consulting industry, as well as the significance of cultivating problem-solving mindset and developing soft skills for success in the workplace.
