The 2^nd “Dialogue with T&M-DDP Alumni” was held on Oct 27, 2023, featuring three esteemed T&M-DDP alumni: Mr. Jacky Cheng (Class of 2007), Vice President Strategy at SUNeVision; Mr. Stanley Kwok (Class of 2009), Assistant General Manager of Asset Management (Hong Kong) at Link REIT; and Mr. Vincent Liang (Class of 2014), Vice President at the Institutional Securities Technology Division of Morgan Stanley.

Moderated by Year 4 T&M-DDP student Miss Minjin Gu, the alumni generously shared their knowledge and personal experiences which highlighted the importance of adaptability and interdisciplinary education in building a successful career. They emphasized the unique benefits of T&M-DDP, which combines both soft skills and technical knowledge. The speakers discussed the significance of keeping up with new technologies, especially AI applications and infrastructure.

Moreover, the alumni underlined the value of intercultural competence gained through different courses and interactions, emphasizing its role in navigating the global business landscape. They also reflected on the ever-changing nature of career paths and the importance of continuous learning and embracing new opportunities. Final words of advice for our students were to make the most of their time, foster intercultural competency and align career choices with personal aspirations.
