The Local Orientation Trip was held on 26 to 27 Aug and 25 Sep 2022 for BSc in Environmental Management and Technology Program (EVMT) and BSc in Sustainable and Green Finance (SGFN) Year 1 students. The Trip started with a visit to Vogue Laundry and Cathay Pacific Catering Services for students to learn about the Swire/CP group's sustainability practices in their frontline operation of services.

On the second day, a discussion forum was conducted for students to share their reflections and inspirations from the visits, and recommended effective methods for solving environmental problems. Through these discussions, students developed innovative ideas to solve problems from different perspectives and gained critical thinking skills.

On the third day, students participated in the leadership training program and engaged in different team-building and outdoor activities. They get acquainted with their classmates by experiencing the high rope course and sport climbing.

We hope that students can make good use of this eye-opening experience and carry on making a positive impact in the sustainability and environmental management sector.
